How do I join The Software Developers Association?

Our club is very open. In fact, there is no application process, membership fee, or sign up required. However, if you want to stay up to date on what we are doing and the opportunities that we are offering, make sure to sign up for our newsletter as well as following us on Facebook and on Twitter. Links to our social media accounts can be found in our footer!


When are meetings held?

Our meetings occur every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm unless stated otherwise. To make sure you are notified of any changes to our meeting times, join our mailing list and follow us on social media.


Where are meetings held?

Our meeting location is subject to change every semester as room availibility changes. Additionally larger events may be held at larger venues. To stay up to date on our meeting locations join our newsletter and follow us on social media.


How do I sign up for the offical SoDA newsletter?

There are two ways to join our mailing list. One way is to sign up here. The other way is to come to our meetings! Simply ask any officer to sign you up and they will assist you.


What is the best way to contact SoDA with general questions?

If you have a question that is not answered on this page, you can send an email to asu@thesoda.io, or message our Facebook Page with the question.


How do I get my resume added to SoDA's resume book?

We offer a free resume book to any of our members. To have your resume added to the book send an email to resumes.soda@gmail.com with the subject line "New Resume" with your current resume attached. We will work with you to polish your resume and put it in our resume book.


How do I update my resume in SoDA's resume book?

Send an email to resumes.soda@gmail.com with the subject line "Update Resume" with your updated resume attached. We will proofread it and then add your new resume to the SoDA resume book.


How do I get involved in a SoDA project?

We are always working on projects at SoDA. Working on extracuricular projects is essential for developing your skills and building a portfolio. If you want to participate in a SoDA project show up to one of our meetings and ask any officer about our current SoDA projects.


How do I start my own project with SoDA?

If you have a project idea and want to support other SoDA members while they work with you to create it, send an email to projects.soda@gmail.com with your idea and why you believe you can lead a team of student developers.


I have an idea for the next great innovation in software. How do I get SoDA developers to build it for me?

SoDA is primarily an academic association. We do not endorse contracted projects. We ask that you do not request that any SoDA member work for you. Thank you.
